Tomberries - a burst of tomato flavour!

As of June 13th a new and exciting tomato will hit Sainsbury's shelves! The TOMBERRY.
These small yet perfectly formed tomatoes are tiny bursts of flavour that can be used to add colourful rays of sunshine to any salad, or intense tomato hits on your pizza. They are also perfect for kids' lunch boxes as they are so easy to just pop in the mouth. A tasty, healthy snack.
These tiny toms are a wild variety, which were developed in Holland, they have never before been cultivated commercially
Robert Honeysett, Sainsbury's fresh produce technologist says:" Tomberries are ideal for helping kids reach their five-a-day. You can't resist just popping them in your mouth. In fact, I bet it is not just kids who take a liking to these tantalisingly tiny toms, they are very moreish".
Tomberries will be available exclusively from Sainsbury's from 13th June priced
£1.29 for 100g.
